This is the fifth title in the Rich Wilde series and sees him travel to Atlantis in search of the fabled Shield of Athena, bearing the head of the gorgon Medusa.

Rich acts as the game’s Wild, while his daughter Cat is the Scatter. As the Wild, Rich will stand in for any HP or LP to help create combinations of three or more symbols along the game’s ten paylines.

The Cat Wilde Scatter will trigger the Medusa’s Gaze special feature. The HP symbols within the game are all taken from within Greek mythology; the Helm of Athena, the Ring of Wisdom, the Pendant of Courage, the Golden Owl (a symbol of Athena) and the Shield of Athena itself. Athena’s Shield will also transform into a fearsome Wild during the Wilde Re-Spins feature.

Wilde Re-Spins

Wilde Re-Spins can activate on any spin and, once activated, if the Shield of Athena lands on the reels, one Wilde Re-Spin will be awarded. The Shield now becomes a Wild; any Shields and any winning lines will be held in place, and the rest of the grid positions will re-spin. If any more Shields land on the grid or any more winning lines are created, they will also be locked in, and another re-spin will be given. This will continue until no more Shields or winning combinations land on the reels, and then all locked symbols will pay out.

Medusa’s Gaze

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters on the reels will trigger Medusa’s Gaze and award the player with 10, 12 or 15 spins respectively. During Medusa’s Gaze Wilde Re-Spins are always active. Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters during this feature will award an additional 10, 12 or 15 free spins; giving the possibility of unlimited free spins.
